For our client, one of the leading accommodation platforms and travel agencies, which is seeking to be one of the world leading platforms we are looking for candidates on the position of Financial Controller, the perfect candidate should be able to:
• Lead, develop and support a small team of people
• Preform accounting tasks incl. invoicing, monthly financial statements, internally required reports, monthly follow-up (preparing budget reports including forecasting, explaining budget deviations, analysis and trends)
• Continuously improvement of systems and financial tools, production controlling (production costs, efficiency, inventory control etc. as well as local taxes and VAT advisory
• Prepare consolidation reports
• Assist the Director of Finance in preparing the annual corporate budgets
• Special projects as required
We are also looking for strong organizational and management skills, as well as the ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
• Proven experience of at least 3 up till 5 years in finance, controlling, accounting, reporting, consolidation reports, as well as forecasting and budgeting
• Proven experience in management of small teams of at least three people
• Can-do attitude and eager to drive change
• Strong analytical skills,
• Knowledge of polish HR law
• Travel vertical background
• Fluent Polish and English
• International experience
• Ability to travel on regular basis
