As a Financial Controller for a new entity in Poland, this newly created role aims to be the finance business partner to the Managing Director of the company. The role will be focused on providing both Accounting & Controlling services focused on both ensuring the successful financial performance of the newly created Centre of Excellence as well as other global functions within the global organisation.
The role includes collaboration with a number of teams, including Account Management, Business Consulting, Global Operations, IT & other functions both in Poland and Switzerland.
Requirements
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Managing company's budgeting in Poland, expense tracking, forecasting and financial analyses to support business goals.
- Performing monthly and yearly close and presenting results to management / group finance.
- Collaboration with external accounting & payroll service provider (with a view to take over) to ensure correct and accurate recording of transactions and ensure timely closing.
- Working with Head of HR to ensure that accurate tracking and forecasting of FTE & Headcount, and reporting and analysis v CoE Business Case.
- Assist with preparation of Consolidated Group reporting and analysis in close collaboration with Zurich headquarters.
- Assist Senior Controller with providing support to the COO & CTO organisations.
- Any other Controlling and Accounting activities.
