For one of our clients, we are looking for a person to hold the position of Financial Controller in Warsaw.
The Financial Controller will be accountable for managing the Polish end of bookkeeping, finance and accounting procedures, providing financial reporting and management accounts for local management and oversee local risk management and regulatory procedures related to the operation of the local subsidiary.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the day to day working relationship with the UK SSC and ensure that all local processes and procedures are delivered and complied in an accurate and timely manner.
Additionally, the Controller will be extracting and presenting financial data to local and EMEA management as directed for the purposes of financial reporting and managing the local business including, specifically, the preparation of annual and monthly forecasts, cash-flows, profit & loss and Monthly Management Reports (MMRs), including breakdowns by individual skill line / business activity. The Financial Controller will be also responsible for assisting local management in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans and to liaise on same with EMEA management and the SSC.
The right Candidate will have a minimum 2-5 years of working experience as a Financial Controller in real estate/property management company or real estate service provider. Ideally, the right Candidate will be a qualified accountant (otherwise close to get CPA or ACCA).
An excellent knowledge and experience of MS Excel is virtue. A fluent knowledge of English written and spoken is must. A knowledge of Hyperion, JD Edwards or Cognos is advantage.
The ideal Candidate will be self-driven, proactive individual with excellent communication skills due to closely work with management and daily use of English.
