Supporting the Front Office RAD team with a variety of tasks and projects for the ION Trading platform and associated technology. This includes the deployment and configuration of new gateways; environment management and optimization; supporting software upgrades; management of reference data; working with various business stakeholder groups to deliver system change.
- Knowledge of financial products & capital markets
- Financial services experience working with Front Office / Trading desk IT teams.
- Remote working with trading / business users
- Experience with scripting (Shell, Pearl, Bash or Python)
- System administrator experience in UNIX
- Analytical thinker
Desired:
- 1+ year of experience in ION Trading System or ION MarketView (Experience with Admin Console, Topology and Latency analysis tools, gateway deployment and configuration - nice to have, Auto Hedger - nice to have)
- knowledge of trading platforms like Calypso, Murex, Kondor+, Apex, Fidessa, Bloomberg etc.
- Java, XML, Exchange connectivity
Working with the clients front office RAD team in London you will be involved with supporting their front office team for Fixed Income, REPO & Swaps trading. This includes the deployment, configuration and testing of new gateways and products; management of the technology stack; supporting a variety of projects and dealing with business users on a day to day basis. Some travel may be required for this role in addition to initial training on-site in London.
