GL Accounting Manager with German

Currently for our Client, a global company operating in banking industry, we are looking for GL Accounting Manager with German to join the finance centre in Cracow.

The jobholder will be responsible for managing and leading accounting Team working for various Business Partners and managing monthly end of month process in conjunction with local CFO’s, business teams and Group Finance to ensure availability of information necessary to prepare timely and accurate financial reports. Additionally, on the role you will be also responsible for monitoring all P&L and Balance sheet transactions to ensure accurate and timely transaction posting, correcting where required and reviewing General Ledger Account Substantiation for the purpose of Monthly Balance Certification process. What is more, your scope of duties will also include building and maintain good working relationships with relevant teams across a wide range of areas throughout the organization and working closely with other Finance Teams.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience on the position of Accounting Manager or GL Team Leader and good knowledge of financial accounting and control. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Financial Services and relevant University degree. Internationally recognized professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA) will be an asset. Due to international work environment English language on advance level is required. Fluent German language is also a must. To be successful on the role you should have rxcellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels, excellent analitical and Excel skills.
