Lead the development of the Shared Service Finance Data Office delivering the data strategy, data standardization activities and operating model through the implementation of a data governance framework across end-to-end functional processes. The person will provide expertise, support and advice to the organization, championing a culture of trust and confidence in 'data driven' enabled decisions.

Description

• Deliver and operationalize the Data strategy that embeds a consistent framework of controls across all business units aligned to the objectives of the Global Process Owner, working closely alongside the Information Technology, audit, legal, security and data protection experts.
• Provide rigorous governance and standardization of data, enabling the business to explore and leverage trusted, democratized data for insight and action that delivers value to the business.
• Ensure continuous improvement is aligned to the development and changes of the business's processes and technology.
• Establish processes to continuously monitor and report on data quality.
• Undertake Root Cause Analysis on data issues and incidents and provide subject matter support to the Global Process Owner in agreeing remedial actions.
• Management and facilitation of regular Data Governance executive and operational forums ensuring reporting on demand, risk, issues and compliance that drives delivery of quality data and information.
• Serve as a liaison between the Business, Shared Services and Technology to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, well understood, and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.
• Ensure the Business is implementing best practice data governance across its regions. Act as a Data Governance thought leader internally and cross functionally.

Profile

• Strong experience of defining approaches and implementing data governance initiatives across international markets.
• Proven experience in defining and landing Master Data Management practices.
• Understanding of the information lifecycle through experience in data management and /or data governance activities.
• Advanced experience in stakeholder management and influencing skills, being able to grow and develop the stakeholder engagement across a global community.
• Proven ability to confidently communicate, effectively and concisely to all levels preventing misinterpretation and ensuring mutual and shared understanding.
• Sound knowledge of the structure of enterprise systems.
• Experience in tools used for data management and data governance.
• Service Delivery knowledge beneficial.
