As a Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with the Sales teams to learn the customer needs, define the right automation solution, and provide technical support and expertise. You will perform application assessments on site and work together with the customer and internal team to concept and cost system solutions. A Solutions Engineer works with many departments, including Intralogistics, Sales and Customer Service.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years engineering experience.
- 3-5 years applications experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with material handling equipment systems in a warehouse.
- Provide expertise to Sales and customers regarding Linde’s product offerings and capabilities.
- Prepare and review cost estimates.
- Review and approve technical details in customer communication including proposals.
- Travel to potential customer sites to research, collect and report information about the application.
- Attend meetings with customers, either in a support role or making presentations.
- Collaborate with Intralogistics department to determine feasibility and develop new system solutions.
- Work with Sales personnel to determine customer requirements and concept solutions.
- Any other duties assigned by the company.
- Understanding of how to optimize warehouse operations.
- Understanding of warehouse management software systems.
- Computer skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

- Experience in Material Handling Automation equipment
- Experience in WMS, WCS, or Control Level Software.
- Architectural knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and software products.
- Strong automation integration and design experience.
