IT Application Specialist - Tester
Work location: Cracow
Job Purpose
The IT Application Specialist - Tester is the person responsible for the 2nd level support of the application. In particular he/she is involved in test preparation and execution in order to ensure that application is prepared for release correctly. He/she also performs monitoring activities of the application and is involved in problem solving and technical improvement of the application.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and analysing test scenarios
- Improving the test environment in order to make it more efficient and minimise manual tests
- Day to day monitoring of the system to ensure that all connections to the supported application are working correctly
- Supporting and monitoring of all application interfaces
- Managing configuration of the supported application
- Troubleshooting as the 2nd line support (application error analysis, consulting and troubleshooting in cooperation with the 1st and 3rd line support)
- Cooperating with application development team
- Actively participating in continuous improvement of services
Essential Skills and Experiences
- Higher education, the preferred directions: IT, technical or economic
- Knowledge of test methodology and experience in test automation
- Knowledge of SQL
- Basic knowledge of service management including quality control/assurance
- Analytical skills
- Ability to work in team
- Fluency in English; other European language will be an asset
