Job Description:
IT Project Manager is responsible for developing and executing activities related to end-to-end project management for medium size projects, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation, deployment and transition to run support. They proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables through all project phases up to transition to RUN support. They also participate in supporting New Business opportunity pursuits.
- Define and/or confirm project requirements and scope
- Develop and/or review project approach, effort, cost, schedule and staffing
- Monitor project progress to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget and that it meets or exceeds expectations
- Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks and manage changes. Make adjustments as necessary
- Obtain buy-in from management for all key project plans, commitments, and changes
- Delegate and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
- Review timesheets
- Proactively manage project risks/ issues
- Ensure project stakeholders receive the right information at the right time regarding project delivery status
- Ensure all project deliverables in scope are completed and signed-off, incl. transition to RUN support
- 5 years hands-on experience in IT Project Management
- Practical knowledge of modern IT data center infrastructure and/or remote infrastructure services; experience in cloud would be a strong asset
- Technical Bachelor’s/Master’s Technical degree or equivalent experience in IT services
- Project Management Certification – Prince2 and/or PMP-preferred
- Very good English and German
- Superior communication skills with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary, geographically dispersed teams
- Self-motivated, with meticulous attention to details and an overall passion for discipline of Project Management
