Java Developer backend-socialCOM
Location: Wrocław
Responsibilities:
- Backend development as member of our agile development team
- Implementation of the server-side application logic for a Grails web application, using the Groovy and Java language
- Programming the API of social network’s (e.g. Facebook and Twitter) and accessing various interfaces (e.g. REST, JSON, RSS, Email-based) is your daily bread
- You will help the product owner to elaborate on use stories to understand the customer’s needs and find a possible technical solution
- Implementing the next increment, and presenting the new functionality in the sprint review meeting to your team
- Build on open-source and commercial solutions
- Solving bugs and dive into technical details with Google’s help and the help of the open source community
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge in J2EE
- Profound knowledge in software web service database structures
- Intermediate knowledge in SQL and DBMS
- Knowledge about Agile Development methodology
- Good English skills, German language skills (nice to have)
- Willingness to travel
Nice to have:
- Spring, Hibernate, Grails and Groovy Kenntnisse experience
- Knowledge in Java application server (e.g. Tomcat, JBOSS, WAS, WebLogic)
- Knowledge in Web technologies and web Services Integration (SIAP, REST)
- Knowledge in security (SSL; user authentication)
- Architectural skills: scalability/high availability/security
- Experience in Release Management and Social Networks
