The principal role of the Junior Business Analyst function is to provide the internal stakeholders and key decision makers with the accurate and meaningful information on the financials and the operations of the business. The key responsibilities would be then focused on preparing various analyses and reports at both detailed and consolidated level, ensuring integrity of data and clarifying the message behind the numbers.
You will become a member of a dynamic team whose tasks cover but are not limited to earnings consolidation & reporting, providing analyses within such areas as overhead, manufacturing, sales & pricing, cash flows, working capital not to mention participation in the budget and forecast processes and data consolidation.
That is why, as a Business Analyst you will have the opportunity to embrace a wide area of business operations, expand practical financial knowledge and strengthen analytical skills. In this role you will also be exposed to cooperation with specialists and professionals from across the organization including Senior Management.
- Perform month-end closure process activities such as result consolidation and reconciliation in an accurate and time-effective manner; coordinate the process with other team members and business partners
- Gain knowledge and experience on IP EMEA organization from more senior team members
- Support the BA team in gathering, processing and consolidating data from IP EMEA divisions
- Assist in timely consolidation of strategic plan, budgets and forecasts of IP EMEA divisions
- Provide accurate sales data information
- Prepare analyses, presentations and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a key contact for customers in the specific area of expertise
- Maintenance and development of reporting tools - preparing models, manuals, report standardization; support and interactions with other teams
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting, business administration, economics or finance
- Experience of 0 to 2 years in the area of finance / business analysis / controlling
- Knowledge of Excel and Power Point with the ability to quickly learn other software and computer applications; knowledge of VBA will be an asset
- Fluency in English
- Experience in working with SAP
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work with other team members and employees at all levels within the Company
- Fluency in English is a must, additional foreign language will be an advantage
- Analytical skills
