Junior Legal Counsel (German language)

What do you need to start?
- A strong academic background. Master degree in Law at Polish or German university, LL.M degree or double diploma from one of German Universities
- Fluency in English and German verbal and written communications for both formal and informal settings is required
- Preferably 0 to 5 years of professional experience in an international law firm or private practice, or experience as in-house legal counsel in an international company
- Commercial drive to see the continuing growth of the Group. Experience in commercial and/or IT contracts’ negotiations and drafting, including procurement contracts
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships with a range of people within the Group. Ability to learn fast and to prioritize the tasks
- The ability to work to strict timetables where required. Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing schedule of tasks
- Problem solving attitude and pro-active thinking
- Good sense of humor
It's not essential, but we appreciate if you also have:
- Work experience on German law in Polish or international law firm or company,
- Work experience in Germany, preferably in a law firm or as an inhouse lawyer
What duties will help you grow?
- You will be part of the Global Legal Center Poland (GLC Poland) team, working currently out of two locations – Wrocław and Kraków, which consists of 12 fully qualified Legal counsels and lawyers and is headed by the Head of GLC Poland. The team is growing rapidly and delivers high quality and pragmatic legal services to all parts of Capgemini business in several different countries and jurisdictions.
- On daily basis you will work with German Legal team and German Procurement team and you will provide legal support on German market.
- You will be responsible for review and negotiations of procurement contracts, confidentiality agreements (NDAs), DPAs and assessment of RFI/RFP documents.
- The work may involve negotiations directly with our vendors and their attorneys, it may also require close interaction with various departments of Capgemini, including Procurement, Sales, Finance and Delivery.
- Initially you will be working supervised by Senior attorneys from German Legal and the GLC attorney working with German Legal. With time, your role should evolve, and you will be expected to work autonomously and with limited supervision.
