Accenture Cloud Platform (ACP) Managed Services L3 Team work to support the most complex and high impact problems, deliver new features and functionality. Their primary focus is Cloud Managed Services tools which are Public Cloud hosted solutions, providing customers a catalogue of cloud infrastructure management ‘as a Service’. Managed Services already cover backup, hardening, anti-virus, patching, VPNs but are expanding to include security tools and integrate more closely with IO Tools Service Assurance and Ops Automation offerings.
What will you do?
As Junior Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for Cloud Managed Services infrastructure technical support, resolving incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems. Mostly, you will:
- Manage Cloud Linux servers (Redhat, Suse, Centos, and Oracle Linux)
- Create and maintain technical documentation for supported technologies
- Implement, analyze and assess the impact of changes on maintained client environment
- Develop new projects which improves the Public Cloud environments and managed services tools (scripting and configuration management tools)
- Maintain operational stability and ensure root cause analysis is executed for any service disruptions
- Very good English (written and spoken)
- At least one year of hands-on experience in Linux administration
- Knowledge of network services and protocols – like HTTP, DNS, SMTP, NFS, NTP
- Scripting skills (Bash, Perl or Python) would be threaten as a strong asset
- Demonstrable experience of working in technically complex, hosted environments, supporting multiple projects or Clients
