Through the maintenance of Physical Security, the identification and resolution of Internal Theft and through engagement with site Management and Associate Teams, protects all Company Assets and ensures the safety and security of Associates at all, times.
Physical Security
- Mans the Loss Prevention Control Room and answers all related LP and Security queries
- Monitors the Gatehouse Operation to ensure safety and Integrity of delivery yard
- Monitors CCTV to ensure Physical Security is at an optimum at all times
- Acts as a keyholder
- Conducts patrols of the Operational and non Operational areas to regularly inspect safety and Physical Security standards
- Highlights exposures to loss or safety to LP or Operational Management
Crime Resolution
- Monitors CCTV to identify and investigate Internal theft Alerts Signals
- Carries out personal, locker and vehicle searches at agreed times of the day or as directed by line manager
- Promotes a ‘culture of honesty’ and ‘Responsible Management’ during interaction with Management and Associates
- Regularly patrols exposed areas of the operation to identify and investigate Internal Theft Alert Signals
Shrink Awareness
- Supports the implementation of PC Shrink Strategy during interaction with management and Associates
- Ensure that shrink awareness material is regularly reviewed and updated as directed by line manager
- Promotes CWTK and other Corporate Shrink programmes during interaction with Associates
Operational Compliance
- Carries out testing of Operational areas of the PC when directed by Line Manager
- Identifies operational exposures and non compliance to SOP’s during CCTV observations and site patrols
- Understanding of Loss Prevention within a Distribution or Retail Environment
- Quality Control or Audit experience
- Coaching skills and an ability to engage with associates
- Self motivated

- A good standard of written and oral communication
