Job Description
Person on this position will act as a primary business point of contact for master data setup & maintenance, including consultation on strategies to speed data collection and improve data quality
- Manage the end-to-end master data setup process including follow-up and escalation to meet Service Level Agreements;
- Ensure application of global MDM and business specific governance during the master data creation process;
- Develop expertise on data governance and setup processes;
- Train/consult functional data providers to support master data collection process;
- Maintain business group workflow/routing configuration information;
- Provide reports to assigned business team to enable end-to-end process visibility;
- Identification of opportunities to improve data quality & reduce cycle time
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university;
- Minimum 2 years' experience with data management;
- Preferred experience in working with data quality, master data management and/or data governance within a global master data environment or familiarity working with Supply Chain processes and data, manufacturing or materials management;
- Working knowledge of SAP would be a plus;
- Fluent English (German or French would be a plus)
- Detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processes
- Highly client service and quality oriented mindset;
- Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Team oriented person who can focus on the details.
