As a NetDevOps Engineer, you will bring the following:
The Multicloud NetDevOps Delivery & Platform team sits at the tip of the spear within client's global cloud transition. As the NetDevOps Engineer, you will be at the heart of the network engineering process, building software and methodologies that empower us to develop and deliver highly automated solutions.
Working with our lines of business, you will help build and run our next generation Multicloud networking technologies at global scale. You will be responsible for developing solutions, implementing requirements, creating key processes, procedures, defining structure and communications that facilitate product planning and execution.
You will be working closely with network Architects, Engineers and Operators to deliver products from conception to launch.
- Communication of complex topics to a diverse audience and positive customer service skills to exemplify strong leadership identity
- Ability to lead, build positive business relationships, and influence collaboratively across IT and Business teams
- You must possess a mind-set of change, while not being afraid to fail
- Understanding of virtualization and global infrastructure, load balancing, networking, security and operations
- Team-first outlook including building great working relationships with peers across functions
- 2+ Years' Enterprise NetDevOps at scale, focus on Engineering Self-Service efforts
- 4+ Years' with using CI/CD to deliver networking solutions at planet scale
- 2+ Years' with any of the following stacks GCP, AWS, VMware, Azure, OpenStack, IBM Cloud
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; or, an equivalent combination of education and related work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable network cloud-based solutions
- Advanced software programming experience in Java, C/C++, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or GO
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Perl, Bash, Shell or another common language
- Experience with Direct Connects, Express Routes, Inner Connects & NNIs with automation of VPCs & VPNs to public clouds
- Large systems network engineering and development experience, with experience in Unix/Linux
- Solid understanding of network frameworks for AWS, Azure, Palo Alto and F5
- Under a coordinated SD-WAN approach, has helped lead and establish a single management pane of view
- Developed an effective tooling and response model to both identify and address reliability risks
- Maintained Ops model with high availability, as per SLAs, to ensure maximum availability to end users
- Cloud management, cloud analytics experience, ci/cd stacks
