André Karkalis has been providing PR and marketing communications consulting to fashion and lifestyle companies since 1999. He founded the full-service agency, Karkalis PR, in Düsseldorf in 2005.

PR Consultant

Job description
We are expanding our service offer to Poland.
Therefore we are looking for a PR Consultant who appreciates fashion and lifestyle, is enthusiastic and enjoys working independently, to start as soon as possible.
In cooperation with the office in Germany, you will develop the strategy for Poland and implement it on site. You will maintain contact with the editors and act as a media department.
In addition to a high level of independence, this position offers flexible workinghours.
The responsibilities in detail:
- Preparation of a specific media list
- Continuous nurturing of press contacts
- Answering press requests
- Distribution of press material (mailings)
- Initiation of prize competitions in the consumer media
- Organisation of TV presenters
- Editor desk side tour
- Monthly activity reports
- Clippings of publications & Evaluation
- Reporting to German head-office
Requirements
Your background:
- 2 to 5 years professional experience in PR or journalism (fashion/lifestyle/travel)
- Excellent knowledge of English or German
- Ability to work independently
- Good contacts to fashion editors in Poland
- EDP skills (Office & Internet Applications such as Skype, etc.)
