Production Manager

As a result of dynamic growth of our company we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Production Manager to newly formed team in Łódź for Traction Transformers Factory. The person hired on this position will be responsible for management of the production department ensuring high on time delivery and all quality standards.
Tasks:
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety aspects, building a culture of safe work;
- Ensure timely implementation of the production plan and proper execution of the manufacturing process;
- Improving efficiency of the production process of oil type transformers;
- Competence development of subordinate team;
- Initiating measures to streamline processes and technology;
- Supervision and control of compliance with technological instructions, technical specifications and quality
- standards in the production process;
- Development of methods and tools that optimize the work;
- Ongoing analysis of manufacturing performance and reporting;
- Planning of employment and the use of allocated resources;
- Active and effective management of subordinate personnel.
Key requirements:
- Technical University degree (preferred: electrical engineering, automation, production management);
- Experience in managing manufacturing teams in multinational companies;
- Very good command of English and Polish;
- Experience in the application of Lean Manufacturing tools;
- Fluency in reading drawings and technical documentation;
- Self-reliance, responsibility and orientation for the implementation of assigned tasks;
- Extensive experience in ERP system (preferably SAP);
- Knowledge of SAP WM module will be an asset;
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of building oil type transformers will be an asset;
- Knowledge of MS Office & Manufacturing Execution Systems;
- Ability to work in a team and excellent organization of their own work;
- Experience in participating in setting up new initiative will be an asset;
- Very good communication skills and collaborative approach;
- Well organized, results & people orientated person, who can solve problems and propose pragmatic solutions.
