Principal Accountabiilities:
- Managing of production departments: zinc die casting, assembly, tool shop & maintenance (team of ~45 people)
- Planning, scheduling and executing work on subordinate departments
- Planning resources, organizing and optimising the departments to meet company goals – especially in terms of H&S, environmental requirements (REACH, CRSL, Oeko-otex), Constant Improvement Processes, Lean & Kaizen Techniques, TPM
- Acting and co-operating as a part of Opti Europe production team in terms of development of product & new solutions and providing service
- Controlling of the supply chain of the materials for the departments
- Calculating and reporting KPI’s locally and on the corporate level
- Responsible for human resources evaluation, choice, motivation and assessment
- Departments organization in terms of:
- Work time and organization
- Number of FTE
- Resources
- Departments organigrams, qualification matrices
- Raw materials and tools purchasing schedule - Controlling the stocks:
- Raw materials
- Work in progress
- Finished goods - Leading the projects in vital business areas, mainly in:
- Factory efficiency improvement
- Production quality improvement
- Health and Safety
- Environmental responsibility
- Employees satisfaction improvement - Handling HR of the subordinate departments in terms of:
- Recruitments and terminations
- Periodic Evaluations
- Personal development and training programs
Key Importance:
- Higher technical education
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing management position leading more than 20 people, in metal processing, tool making industry or plastic processing with basic knowledge of metal processing techniques (EDM, injection moulding tools production)
- Fluent in Polish and English
- Practical SAP knowledge and experience
Other:
- Knowledge of modern metal processing techniques & die casting or plastic processing
- Experience in Lean & Kaizen and other continuous improvement tools will be welcome
