Responsibilites
- Support the Head of the function in ensuring team focuses on top priorities by proactively managing operational challenges, introducing interconnections and driving improvements to organizational strategy
- Provide active support and lead in advanced budget planning, compliance agenda, team’s resource allocation, objectives and R&R optimizing team capacities and project delivery
- Co-drive implementation of HUB support team integrating functions, eliminating operational inefficiencies and providing value-add support to Treasury
- Drive set up of an efficient change management operating model to overcome current challenges
- Help to execute and promote effective and frequent communication (internal & external) to maintain visibility of team’s focus and strategy to wider Treasury team
- Take ownership for identifying gaps and inconsistences within existing operational framework and be proactive in taking corrective action Business as Usual Activities / Investment Projects
- Successful Candidate will participate in comprehensive 2-week structured training program which will equip the Candidate with required knowledge to successfully execute their assigned scope of work.

The main objective of this role is to ensure cohesive day-to-day team related management activities (budget, resource planning etc), programme management, operating processes and organizational structure for Treasury Modelling & Platforms team. The Candidate will maintain Book of Work (BOW) management processes and controls - ensure regular updates, knowledge share via team meetings and reviews to align to Treasury objectives and will specifically:
- Strive to be the go-to-person that resolves project bottlenecks, handles operational challenges and acts on proposed process improvements allowing team to fully execute on roles & responsibilities
- Support in setting up robust team organizational structure - clearly define roles & responsibilities, KPIs/Objectives, BOW deliverables and ensure this is effectively communicated
- Coordinate resource requests, set up and improve operational processes
- Implement rigorous processes for budget management - proactively challenge costs, resource & budget requests ensuring Bank’s spending is economical and fully rationalized
- Conduct regular 'check ins' on frequency and quality of communication updates. Reinforce agreed frameworks and monitor adherence as and when required.
- Centrally coordinate recruitment for team and influence hiring process & definition of support structure with key stakeholders
