For our Client – one of world Leaders in production and distribution of food, industrial, medical and specialty gases, as well as related services, equipment and technologies – we are looking for a subcontractor to fulfill the Project Engineer (plant and design certification specialty “CE”) vacancy.
- Controlling certification process of pressure equipment, piping and assemblies.
- Carry out inquiry process, offers review, negotiations, purchase order documentation preparation (with Notified Bodies and local Authorities).
- Involving the Third Party into the Project execution, coordinating and control necessary activities for certification, authorizations and permits.
- Recognizing local requirements in the particular location of the plant and aquiring necessary permits (building, environmental, etc.).
- Cooperating with all necessary departments and disciplines within the Company.
- Making sure project is executed with accordance to European quality systems and standards and Industrial Safety requirements for the industrial plants.
- Participating in pre-inspection meetings.
- Planning and conducting inspections and test activities, recording results.
- Conducting surveillances necessary to ensure project quality is effectively controlled and reported.
- Experience in Project engineering roles in EPC projects
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Office and Google Tools
- Advanced knowledge of international technical codes and standards
- Familiarity with European Directives applicable to the oil and gas industry: PED, MD, ATEX, LVD, EMD, etc.
- Familiarity with quality systems and standards applicable in Europe, especially in regards to pressure equipment and piping fabrication, steel structures (welding, NDE, workshop qualifications, fabrication personnel qualification, etc.)
- Familiarity with Industrial Safety requirements for the industrial plants: Risks and Hazards Analysis preparation, HAZOP review purpose, other safety reviews for industrial plants.
- Familiarity with principles of Hazardous Area classification and ATEX certificates,
- Advanced knowledge of Welding Quality
- Mastering in QA/QC Management procedures
- Good level of English – verbal and written
