Project initiation including scoping, gathering of estimates, obtaining resources, production of product brief, production f project plan, ratification with sponsors and stakeholders
Project execution including:
managing delivery against plan
plan maintenance
status reporting
management of risks and issues
change management
management of definition, design, construction and validation phases
implementation planning
Stakeholder management, team leading, issue resolution, metrics monitoring
Ensure adherence to project management standards and policies including CS-SDF, SDLC+ and SOX
- Educated to degree Level
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a project management role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience of the software development lifecycle
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Structured, methodical thinker
- Confident assertive and effective communicator
- Team Player
Beneficial experience:
Experience in managing complex multi-system test environments, including liaison with technical stakeholders such as Oracle DBAs
Experience in managing detailed team-wide financials, including budget forecasting; project allocations; communicating/agreeing project costs with external stakeholders; daily financials management.
Project is about a core component of the Firm's OTC Derivatives processing architecture. The current version runs on ORACLE 11G supported by a number of middle tier components and GUI applications implemented using MS .NET, Informatica and IBM MQ Series.
