QA Tester
Location: Warszawa
Job description
Predictive Service has an immediate opening for a QA Software Tester. Your primary responsibility in this role is to perform quality assurance testing on internally developed software applications. These applications are the core business system for Predictive Service and this is a highly visible role.
Primary Duties:
- Test applications against requirements and high level design specifications.
- Ensure quality and integrity of web based and form based application.
- Eliciting and documenting business requirements.
- Ability to review functional specification & Identify test cases to create/update test case documents Executes test cases, identify bugs, evaluate bugs with appropriate priority and severity, and report bugs.
- Understands the functionality of the entire product and takes ownership of the product areas allocated to him/her for testing.
- Documentation of solutions, testing notes, and best practices.
- Create test plans to ensure testing coverage.
- Create automated tests to assist with testing.
- Perform builds and releases of software.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 0-3 years in a quality assurance role.
- Excellent computer proficiency.
- Familiarity with testing web applications
- Strong communication skills
Experience/Characteristics
- Extremely detail-oriented (and loves detailed work).
- Enthusiastic to learn new technology and software.
- Ability to document things in detail with great clarity.
- Quality Driven - high degree of accuracy working with software standards.
- Familiarity with web based applications
Preferred Skills:
- Experience Documenting business requirements
- Experience with automated test tools (AutomatedQA)
- Prior quality assurance experience
- Prior Database experience
- Prior Software development skills
