Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain Test Plans
- Review Functional Specifications and translate into Test Strategies and Regression Test scenarios
- Execute Test scenarios during Regression and Integration Testing and document Testprogress
- Track and report defects/issues found during testing
- Work Closely with the BAs and Developers on defect fixes
Develop and execute software test plans in order toidentify software problems and their causes. Candidate needs to posses strong communication skills both written and oral.
- BA/BS degree
- 1-5 years of QA experience and or years of Fund Accounting experience
- Understanding of custody operations and fund accounting workflows, as well as an understanding of the key roles assumedby Custodians, Fund Accountants, Fund Administrators, and Transfer Agents preferred
- Solid understanding of Testing methodologies
- Familiarity with Test Planning, Test Plangeneration and Test Case specification/definition
- In depth knowledge of Test scriptscreation/execution and defect tracking
- Knowledge of HP testing tools such asQuality Center
- Eagle STAR experience preferred
- Knowledge with PL/SQL preferred
- Ability to Multi-task and meet deadlinesin a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency using windows-basedapplications, including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Access, and MS Project
- Knowledgeable in SWIFT messaging, communication methods such as FTP and MQ, and other systems and Internet technologies
- Ability to recognize one's own strength sand limitations, taking appropriate initiative to pursue development activitiesand seek assistance as needed
- Effective in problem solving while exhibiting a realistic understanding of the scope of the issue
- Oral communication skills including the ability to facilitate effective meetings
