- Develop mobile test strategies that find great bugs.
- Create test harnesses and infrastructure as necessary.
- Automate your tests using test frameworks.
- Write moderately complex code/scripts (unit / integration tests) to test systems.
- File great bug reports and drive bugs to closure.
Must:
- BA/BS degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience building Android applications.
- Excellent debugging capabilities.
- MA/MS in Computer Science.
- 6 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of industry experience.
- Deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging.
- Extensive knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of threads.
- Intimate knowledge of concurrent, reentrant and thread-safe code.
- Knowledgeable of CPU and memory usage profilers.
- Experienced helping drive testability.
- Deep knowledge of React Native or Android.
- Experience working with large code bases, including software design techniques to help keep them maintainable and clean
- Deep domain knowledge and experience with relevant mobile tools, languages, and frameworks
- Fluent writing unit/functional tests, familiar with automation frameworks (e.g Kiwi, Calabash, Frank, Appium).
- Deep familiarity with debugging, performance measurement, and test-driven development.

Merging artificial intelligence with computer vision, our client's systems detect and react to what’s happening on the road ahead of a driver and within the vehicle. Client algorithms sense when there is an issue on the road ahead, or a distraction within the vehicle, and helps the driver respond. Our client also automatically understands when a collision is about to happen, and records the scene inside and outside of the car then. Images and data about the incident are stored in the cloud, and can be shared via app and fleet management tools.
Client is selling to automobile OEMs, insurance providers and commercial fleets. Its systems are running on several classes of high-volume commercial vehicles.
