BUSINESS GARDEN
We are creating a new Regional Finance Hub team in Poznan who will be part of a global network of regional Finance hubs responsible for Planning & Reporting and Close & Control activities as well as more complex accounting activities.
We are also creating a global finance risk management and controls team to be based out of this hub that will be part of the Global Finance Risk Management and Controls Centre of Excellence organization based in London and will support the finance operations at the hub as well as global finance processes to manage risks.
The newly created team will work closely with the GSK global headquarters to manage risks and maintain optimal controls across GSK.
We are looking for a Governance Manager with a global mandate who will manage and maintain the GSK group SOX scope, maintain relationship with a global network of compliance champions and support the CFO Leadership Team with risk management.
- Providing support to CFO and Finance Leadership Team risk management efforts to drive optimal risk levels across the global finance remit
- Support the director with Influencing and driving optimal risk management levels across risk groups and across Global Finance
- Collate, challenge, and prepare appropriate evidence to support the CEO’s and CFO’s certification under Section 302 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- Responsibility for SOX cycle issue classification, trend analysis, key message identification and compiling the full analysis report
- Preparing reports/communications to Director/Vice President to then be issued to Senior Management or external parties
- Driving year-end compliance tasks and reporting
- As a coordinator of optimal Financial control and reporting risk, maintain and participate in internal stakeholder forums, to give updates on key initiatives, and seek information from other risk groups.
- Coordinate relations with the External Auditors or other third parties
- Help identify opportunities then drive implementation of modern solutions to mitigate risks/optimize cost of mitigation proactively and reactively identified.
- This role requires 25% travel, mainly to UK HQ
- Basic qualifications:
- Audit or internal audit qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CIA or equivalent)
- Post Graduate degree
- Specialist knowledge in controls
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
- User and advisor of risk and control for new technologies
- Experience of working with SOX
- Influencing stakeholders skills
- Networking skills
- Experience of working in a corporation environment
- Fluent English (minimum C1)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and availability to take part in migration processes
