BUSINESS GARDEN
We are creating a new Regional Finance Hub team in Poznan who will be part of a global network of regional Finance hubs responsible for Planning & Reporting and Close & Control activities as well as more complex accounting activities.
We are also creating a finance risk management and controls team to be based out of this hub that will be part of the Global Finance Risk Management and Controls Centre of Excellence organization based in London and will support the finance operations at the hub as well as global finance processes to manage risks.
The newly created team will work closely with the GSK global headquarters to manage risks and maintain optimal controls across GSK
We are looking for Risk Manager who will be providing risk management support to the Leadership Team at the Finance Hub.
- Provide Risk management support to the hub and its leadership team to ensure risk mitigation, root cause analysis and related mitigations, process and control deficiencies remediation, and reporting on overall status of control environment in a given region and / or assigned global process, etc
- Provide Risk management support to global or regional process improvements in order to reduce risks as well as support to relevant operating effectiveness programs such as continuous improvement initiatives, process operating issues mitigation and remediation programs and stakeholder support and reporting for that
- Perform annual risk assessment of Finance operations and relevant global process
- Lead process risk reviews of key processes and develop an Annual Risk Plan that covers both controls monitoring as well as risk based ad hoc process risk assessments and reviews
- Keep relevant senior stakeholders appraised of risk and control issues and ensure stakeholders understand and commit to resolution of risk and control deficiency issues across relevant processes
- Support and engage with external auditors and other parties to reduce impact to business, increase reliance, and align on auditor’s assessment of the finance control environment for SOX reporting purposes
- Provide risk management support for Enterprise Risk Management at the hub as well as at the global process tower level.
- Basic qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
- Experience in internal or external audit / risk management / SOX compliance
- Experience of working in a SOX environment
- Experience of working in a global corporation environment
- Fluent English (minimum C1)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, user of analytic tools, technology
- Outside of the box thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and availability to take part in migration processes
- Preferred qualifications:
- Certified Internal Auditor
- Qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CIA or equivalent)
