• Responsible for translation of business needs into system and process solutions through identification, harmonization and prioritization of the requirements as well as through preparation of the functional designs for SAP MM, SRM, MM-SUS.
• Leading role in a roll-out project for the procurement area
• Builds and manages relationship with business side, advises in domain related issues
• Provides support in the business case definition by supplying information concerning requirements in terms of complexity, estimated costs and risk of implementation
• Influence on standardization of requirements in dedicated areas, ensures consistency of proposed solutions with the core model, communicates and stresses the benefits of standardization
• Leads discussion between different regions and markets as well as within the IT and cross company (eg. infrastructure, security officers) in his respective area of responsibility
• Assists  in the IT architecture high level design

Requirements:   

• Experienced in SAP MM with ability of designing solutions. Some knowledge in SAP Plant maintenance (PM), SAP SRM and SAP FI/CO and supplier interface (EDI, idocs, NetWeaver PI…) is a plus.
• 3-4 years of hands-on SAP procurement functional experience in functional/project lead role positions
• Demonstrated experience with SAP implementation for the procurement area through all phases (assessment/planning, requirements & fit-gap analysis, business process design, building, testing, cut-over and post go-live support)
• Deep understanding of the business needs and processes around operational procurement, in explicit:  purchase to pay, CPFR, supplier managed  inventory, supplier network inventory, invoice collaboration
• Understanding of complete processes (beyond direct area of expertise) and multi-layer dependencies
• Good team player with some project management skills and with proven skills in collaboration in non-hierarchical, international and cross-functional teams
• Outstanding communication skills, with business as well as with IS/IT departments
• Fluent written and spoken English
• High level of travel
• Knowledge of German would be an advantage
