SAP Senior Specialist is technical position responsible forextensive end-to-end service integration, overall solution design andarchitecture. Overall responsibility performance, availability and scalabilityof the infrastructure environment. Required to have detailed, technicalhands-on knowledge in areas such as systems administration (cross-platform),storage management, application infrastructure support (SAP & DB2 a must),database administration, network solutions, and performance/capacity management.Required to work with business engagement teams to define solutions with acomplete view of the integration of delivery components. Must have familiaritywith standard IBM methodologies and key industry standards such as ITIL. Leadand be accountable for technology related activities during account transition,steady state operations, and efforts to solution account growth via request forservice process and customer needs.
- SAP Basis Administrator:
- Perform installations and upgrades of SAP products
- Perform 3rd level support to customers infrastructure
- Perform database upgrades and patch installation
- Perform Homogenous / Heterogeneous SAP system copies
- Responsibility for advanced incident / service requestsinvestigation, diagnosis and resolutions where possible
- Change the SAP environment according to customer needs
- Provide technical support and leadership in a complexmission critical SAP environments.
- Higher education degree
- Good knowledge of UNIX or Wintel platform
- Very good Knowledge of Oracle/DB2 database
- At least 2 years experience in Flash Copy
- 2-3 years of experience with SAP Basis
- English language skillsTechnical Diploma
- English:Intermediate
