As a SAP Supply Chain Process Steward, every day will be different. You will be responsible for leading work to make system changes that either enhance the end-user experience, create stronger linkages to our customers, and/or improve bottom line profitability. You will also be a critical support component to International Paper’s GSCS customer service organization in support of our SAP Supply Chain Operating model as we expand our global footprint outside the United States. You will be part of a US based team of process stewards but also afforded the opportunity to act independently in the achievement of your goals. International travel will be required from time to time including an initial 4-month training period in the United States.
You will
- Provide day-to day user support of the SAP Order Management process area for the GCSC Global Customer Service organization
- Managing EDI process enhancements from beginning to end by working directly with our customers and IT to define, build, and test mapping configurations for key output documents
- Assess and influence the effective use of the supported processes and tools
- Ensure new or upgraded functionality works via appropriate testing as well as providing implementation support as needed
- Create or revise support documentation as needed
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements which will add incremental annual savings and/or improve the end user experience
- Facilitate better practice sharing across business groups
- Participate in safety training and activities as required
- Participate in other employee engagement activities as required
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- University degree
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with all levels of our organization and with external partners
- SAP ECC/R3 and CRM experience
- Experience with EDI document types and related mapping requirements
- Customer service experience in a SAP environment
- Project Management skills and experience
- Ability to speak other languages fluently is a plus (preference Spanish, French, and Italian)
- General knowledge of Order-to-Cash Supply Chain processes
- A valid passport and be able to travel to the US or other countries for an extended time period
- Willingness to work afternoon hours 2-11 PM with lunch break
