Job Description
SAP HCM PA/OM System Specialist s a technical SAP expert, able to design and coordinate build of new solutions (solution architecture, technical analysis, IT background) performs functional analysis, requirements, definition and ERP module configuration and testing.
You will be responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables.
You need to be able to create program documents with technical specifications for development. You have to have a thorough understanding of the business processes and flows to enable the analysis of business requirements and the development of solutions for the business functions.
You will be responsible for the identification of and resolution of gaps in the business processes. In addition you will be involved in security/authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation.
You have to be competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
Main Tasks:
- Lifecycle management of the SAP Core Solution as well as 3rd parties' tool likeSpinifexIT Easy Reporter and Accenture Auditor tools
- Collaborate with IT colleagues on blueprinting new developments and entirelifecycle through post implementation support
- Coordinate integration of the interfaces between SAP Core HCM and otherinternal/external systems from analysis, implementation and setup with therelevant teams (i.e. PI)
- Defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combinedwith an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.Assist in providing estimates of task effort and resource skills needed
- Designs architecture of new solutions in the area of SAP Core HCM especiallyPA/OM
- Gathers, analyzes and documents business and functional requirements. Translateneeds of the business, such as those expressed in user Change Requests, intoapplicable system design solutions via prototyping, configuration
- Interface with SAP developers to create program documents and ensure integrityof design and performance
- Performs configuration, testing and implementation of application solutionsaccording to Comapny' Development Standards and Practices, including SAP &other business systems
- Performs support for the SAP PA/OM by responding to support desk tickets,tracking problems/issues, and following up with customers. Performs upgrades toSAP & other internally developed business systems
- Works in aglobal environment with strong ability to interface with colleagues andcustomers across different time zones and cultures
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
- 3 years with the SAP OM/PA module
- Good knowledge of ABAP and OO
- Design skills
- Knowledge of application systems development methodology with the ability to analyze, design, implement, and support applications
- Knowledge of change control as it relates to application systems
- Analytical, logical problem resolution skills
