Securities Specialist - Middle Office role
Job location: Kraków

For one of the largest independent investment company in Europe, which recently had opened a branch in Cracow we are currently looking for candidates to fill a position of Middle Office Securities Specialist.
It is a chance to take part in advanced processes in worldwide growing organization.
The role focuses mostly on:
- Handling of securities settelement and lending trades (instructions, fail reports)
- Liaising with internal departments (portfolio management, sales and fund accounting & operational support, brokers, custodians, asset managers)
- Monitoring trades to ensure timely settlement (prematching, cancelling and re-booking of trades)
- Reclamation and claim handling and avoiding buy-ins
- Monitoring and controlling all relevant mailboxes and interfaces
- Trade Monitoring and Matching via Omgeo CTM
- Completing bookings in Xentis
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or Business area
- Experience in banking and securities area
- Very good knowledge of area of securities
- Very good knowledge of English (C1)
- Communicative knowledge of German (B1)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work under the time pressure
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
