About this opportunity
Welcome to the Income Control team. We add value by being responsible for ensuring correct financial accounting of activities in all business units, covering legal and managerial dimensions and adhere to Nordea financial control principles and external accounting principles. Our team's focus is in the different income lines and balance sheet items driving the income. As (Senior) Controller you will play a valuable role in securing efficient controls and actively driving corrective actions based on your findings. Additionally you will be accountable for providing value adding analysis and comments on development and driving improvement initiatives in your area of responsibility.
In this role, you will be:
- analysing monthly and quarterly financials
- explaining and commenting changes in income lines and related balance sheet accounts to support management in decision making
- ensuring that financial data is complete, correct and in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations
- securing that relevant and efficient actions are taken when issues are found
- using your expertise to proactively drive quality improvement and alignment initiatives

Your experience and background:
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant field
- minimum of 3 years experience as a (senior) controller or similar role
- strong finance and accounting knowledge
- excellent command of business English (both written and spoken)
- very good knowledge of MsOffice tools, advanced in Excel
- experience with Oracle SmartView, PowerBI, SAP or SQL are considered as advantage
