Inter Cars S.A. is the biggest distributor of spare parts for passenger and commercial vehicles in Central and Eastern Europe. Since May 2004 our company is present at Warsaw Stock Exchange. Our main strategic goal is to maintain our position on the market as the leader in CEE area whereas automotive spare parts are concerned.
Your role:
- Design and implementation of the microservices platform in the company, supporting various business critical applications
- Cooperate in a Team of DevOps engineers on a daily basis, to ensure high quality of provided services
- Work in close cooperation with software engineering teams in order to ensure high availability and scalability of the solutions deployed on the platform
- Work with both public and private cloud solutions
- Ensure high quality of the cloud services in the company, high availability and scalability of the platform
- Address operational issues on the platform with professional approach, providing post-mortem analysis
- Cooperation with the security team to ensure the lowest possible threat level risk
Preferred qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in the field
- Experience with infrastructure as a code tools, preferably Terraform
- Solid knowledge of Linux system and its utilities, like cron, openssl, ntp, logrotate
- Knowledge of the underpinnings of containerization
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP(s) and DNS protocols
- Knowledge of at least one popular scripting language, preferably golang or python
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes
- Ability to communicate in English, spoken and written
Nice to have:
- Experience in working with GitLab
- Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL database engine
- Practical knowledge with nosql databases, preferably Solr, Redis, MongoDB, CouchDB
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana metrics aggregation tools
- Experience with Consul or Istio service mesh
