Welcome to the Liquidity Risk & Funding Cost Analytics team within Markets & Treasury Financial Control. We add value by being a competence centre for liquidity risk and liquidity related topics on traded products.
The team works in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders from Trading, IT and other risk functions within the bank. We are involved in various types of tasks and projects that are both strategic and operational.
As an analyst in the team you'll play a valuable role in our value chain for delivering high quality reports and solutions that facilitate optimal control and management of liquidity, while ensuring stability and regulatory compliance.
What you'll be doing:
- Controlling and reporting liquidity risk
- Working with and analysing large amounts of data
- Collaborating with many stakeholders in Nordea including Markets, Treasury & Asset Liability Management (TALM), IT organisation and other parts of the Control and Risk Organisation
- Improving the understanding of the drivers and dynamics of liquidity metrics and helping to optimize strategies to ensure competitiveness and attractive offerings to our customers
- Building and maintaining processes & dashboards for risk control, reporting and analysis
You will join a small and dedicated team of liquidity risk professionals who have a very prominent part to play in the management of Liquidity Risk for Nordea Markets. The team is currently located in Copenhagen, but this new role is based in Warsaw. Your experience and background:
- A degree within in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or other quantitative studies
- At least 3 years of experience in banking/finance business
- Strong interest in risk management
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience setting up reports with BI tools
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
