Senior Project Manager

Responsibilites
- Manage deliverables for entire lifecycle and contribute to scope, timeline, planning, execution, and overall project management
- Ensuring the project is planned in a manner that delivers to the required cost and quality and within the agreed scope, including appropriate milestone definition, work breakdown, dependencies, and assumptions
- Ensuring project stakeholder awareness and engagement through appropriate communication
- Manage information and standard project management deliverables for the successful project launch, including: implementation plan, project schedule, issues & action items log, meeting minutes, risks assessment and contingencies, etc.,
- Manage communications for internal and external partners and stakeholders.
- Manage deliverables for ongoing releases through internal processes, as necessary, including documentation.
- Anticipate problems and complications for the project, and formulate solutions so as not to impede project progress.
- Identify, try to resolve and/or escalate issues early to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Manage the project status communication.
- The scope of work may span across one or more projects for different customers
- Develop and maintain close relationship with other internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure team has information they need to realize their potential to the project and to themselves.
Requirements
- 3-7 years’ professional experience working in one or more of the following industries: high-tech, telecommunication, media, or financial.
- Experience managing team of 25+ employees.
- Demonstrated success in leading and launching projects.
- Experience working with off-shore resources and remote clients highly desirable.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply Agile (Scrum\Kanban) development methodologies.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Cross functional coordination skills.
- Must possess a high degree of influence and ability to impact team performance of cross functional groups, subordinates, peers, and management; including the ability to gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
- Previous experience managing work of vendors.
- Focused, technically curious, and self-starter.
- Strong skills in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Visio.
- Must have proven success in developing and delivering presentations, including experience with MS PowerPoint.
- Scrum Master or Project Management experience in software development projects and/or certification is a plus.
