Responsibilites
Administering a Business Objects environment where responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and Management of Business Objects Services
- Monitoring and Management of Business Objects Support Queue
- User management and support, including creation of new users, groups and security patterns
- Management of the corporate repository including release management using Lifecycle Manager
- Awareness of upgrades/patches and the application to relevant environments
Requirements
Knowledge and skills required:
- Experience of the Business Objects security model and how to implement it.
- Knowledge of Lifecycle Manager, its uses and working patterns.
- Ability to communicate with customer to ascertain issues and resolve accordingly
- Knowledge of the SAP support site and how to use it
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
- BI4 Infrastructure knowledge.
- BO XI3.1 Infrastructure knowledge.
- Migration experience from BOXI 3.1 to BI4.1
- HotFix/Patches and Version roll out and testing
