Department Overview
Motorola Solutions Finance Operations Center (F.O.C.) provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America region. It is a dynamic environment where your ideas and input will be valued and where you will do some of the best work of your life.
General Ledger department is in charge of General Accounting, Global Fixed Assets & Intercompany Operations and Statutory & Compliance activities for Motorola’s entities in the region.
Job Description
Performs accounting entry, reconciliation, analysis and reporting functions within the organization. Prepares blocks of financial data for entry into general ledger. Compiles and analyzes financial data for specific products, operating units, regions, or business lines. May participate in analytical exercises with internal or external auditors.
Basic Requirements

Fluent Arabic speaker

Experience in a similar position or in audit will be an asset

Taxation and financial reporting knowledge (preferable IFRS)

ACCA qualification as a significant asset (may be in progress)

Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with Finance and non-Finance staff at various levels
