Job Description:
- Install, configure and manage VMware infrastructure products as vSphere and vCloud
- Support Citrix XenApp servers and additional components
- Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems
- Manage and support blade and rack mounted servers hardware
- Implementation and support of high availability infrastructure (HA clusters, FT solution)
- Provide high level technical support for application and virtual platforms
- Perform capacity management reports and recommend improvement actions
- Create and review technical design plans
- Very good English
- Experience in VMware server virtualization technologies
- Strong Information Technology background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing operating systems (Windows, Linux), enterprise networks, multiple storage protocols and disk array devices
- Ability to work analytically within a problem-solving environment
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Ability to support infrastructure on on-call duty
- Knowledge and experience of ITIL based service processes (Incident/Problem/Change Management) would be desirable
- Knowledge of HP Virtual Connect domains will be an additional advantage
- PowerCLI scripting and coding skills will be an additional advantage
- Nutanix and KVM knowledge will be an additional advantage
