Start Date: September 2020 or ASAP
Location: Remote / Warsaw
Assignment length: 12 months (+ extension)

Project description / responsibilities:
- Moving large scale on-premise data warehousing to Cloud
- Building single consolidated batch and streaming data pipeline
- Rebuilding client’s heavily used reference data master systems from scratch, also looking to move to Cloud
- Open Sourcing the Data Platform
- Moving from database replication to more modern data distribution techniques - APIs, Streaming, Cloud, etc
Requirements:
- BA/BSc in Computer Science, equivalent University Degree with STEM focus
- Minimum 4 years of relevant software engineering/SRE/DevOps experience
- Strong software engineering and programming skills (preferably Java and Python) and openness to work in proprietary programming languages/environments
- Proficiency with operational infrastructure and system administration such as Unix/Linux
- Experience in data and data infrastructures such as databases, SQL, NoSQL, building operational dashboards with SLOs, etc is solid plus
