Software Test Engineer

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Majority of work will be related to identification of functional tests for new features, designing test procedures based on requirements and implementation of automated tests using a scripting language. Other tasks involve performance, regression and manual testing.Successful Software Test Engineer has to provide two-way information flow between Development and Test teams therefore excellent communication skills is a must.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
• Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems with many variables
• Knowledge of any scripting language (Perl, Python, Bash, Shell)
• Practical knowledge of Linux/Unix operating system
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP)
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
