SSC Site Manager Warsaw – 30-45 000 PLN gross (depending on candidate profile and experience)

For our client, a leading financial services provider, that is planning to establish a multi-functional Shared Services Centre in Warsaw, we are looking for experienced professionals for the position of SSC Site Manager: The Site Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of the client’s multi-functional services in Poland, including responsibility for the profit and loss statement of the Polish legal entity hosting the SSC. The chosen candidate will provide management oversight for all business lines of the SSC, ensuring high quality and cost-effective work done by local employees. The portfolio of functions and activities to be supervised is diverse and complex with broad organizational implications. Besides, the Site Manager will have management responsibility ensuring efficient services that are designed to meet the needs of the client’s customers (in Poland and/or abroad). Being a part of the international Management Team, the chosen candidate will collaborate closely with the global functional managers in charge of the functional processes being executed in the SSC.

Our client is interested in applications from experienced and effective leaders with at least 10 years of experience with a management background in the financial services industry in a multicultural environment as well as in an SSC/BPO set-up. An entrepreneurial spirit is key – the role requires excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, a hands-on personality and an innovative mindset. Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of German will be an asset. Also, the ideal candidate should possess practical experience in the build-up of SSC processes within a new unit or centre, as well as the ability to manage within a matrix structure, engaging with stakeholders in various locations.
