Scope of responsibilities:
- Contribute towards formation of, and responsible for execution of commodity strategy, supply base strategy and supplier strategy
- Drives synergies and improvement for assigned portfolio by developing and maintaining appropriate network inside and outside the company, gathering relevant benchmark data, supply market know-how and supply market intelligence
- Lead supplier scouting, evaluation, selection, and management within the assigned scope for existing portfolio as well as new product developments
- Supplier account management role for assigned scope
- Manage mid & long-term price forecast for assigned suppliers
- Manage & mitigate supplier related risks and ensuring compliance
Your qualifications:
- Relevant working experience in strategic buying/ commodity management and supplier management
- Understands changing business needs for the area supported and the subsequent impact on commodity flow
- Experience of leading contract negotiations and leveraging global contracts
- Builds and maintains up-to-date company, commodity and market knowledge including processes, strategies and industry trends
- Fluent in English
