Strategic Procurement Operations Manager

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree at least
- 4-7 years of strategic procurement operations experience
- Demonstrated record of achieving project timelines and goals
- Demonstrated record of developing relationships with team members that has led to improved procurement strategy and procure to pay process
- Advanced functional and technical experience with Oracle Purchasing and Oracle iProcurement or SAP (Procurement modules)
- Experience with best practices processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders (Procure to Pay Process)
- Effective leadership skills as well as teamwork collaboration; aligns work with people
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to try new approaches and helps others through changes
- High ethical standards and professionalism
- Ability to work well with other teams/colleagues regardless of different points of view
- Strength in building relationships and strategic alliance; creates the right environment for teamwork
- Consistently achieves timely, desired results through proactive prioritization and project management
- Results oriented with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to travel 10-30% (at the beginning closer to 30% time spent on the position, next months it will be less)
Responsibilities:
- In alignment with Global Strategic Sourcing Center of Excellence, set vision and implement procurement execution strategies in EMEA that create improved value
- Lead transactional procurement support (procure to pay process) and enhance the purchase requisition and purchase order process through best practice policies and procedures
- Identify process and strategy improvements related to Oracle Purchasing Modules, procure to pay process, procurement and strategic sourcing
- Develop and lead project teams regionally through a structured process to roll out Oracle Purchasing Modules
- Facilitate ongoing iProcurement training for EMEA users
- Ensure iProcurement system issues and problems are resolved with the assistance of Information Systems team
- Monitor EMEA indirect procurement activity and transactions to ensure high use of iProcurement
- Identify, implement and manage opportunities for iProcurement catalogs in EMEA
- Ensure user compliance to sourcing policies and procedures
- Monitor the industry and bring strong business practices to the company to improve overall performance of the company and department
