Are you an open-minded individual looking for new challenges? Infrastructure Security Engineering team is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support with ongoing projects:
- Installation of new hardware to DataCenters around the Globe and building it to some Virtual Solutions to enable user migrations to virtual desktops;
- Repurpose of existing hardware for other projects/needs
- Hardware Upgrades (servers and chassis)
- Hardware decommissioning and moves in DCs or between DC.
What you will do:
- Build and own roadmaps and projects plans for projects
- Track the progress during project execution
- Manage dependencies of different type including but not limited by following delivery timeline of the hardware orders, different teams involved (DC, MVS, NetOps, GHS etc), deliverables available for the next phase of the project (e.g. documentation, build image, network configuration, inventory change)
- Support the teams with getting approvals in time and removal impediments (budget, change approval, network changes) from IT and Business stakeholders
- Manage and own project communication between teams involved to the projects (organizing and leading regular calls, escalation calls etc)
- Track and Report the project status and risks to Program managers and escalate roadblocks to key stakeholders;
- Propose new, use existing or improve existing tools for task management (excel trackers of different type, MS Planner, JIRA, GSNOW)
Skills required:
- Strong PM Skillset / Business engagement (6+ years of experience with similar responsibilities)
- Excellent verbal skills is essential as it's a global role, so clearly spoken English language is a must-have
- Confidence with senior stakeholders and business side developers
- Strong organizational skills
- Data driven decision making
- High level infra understanding
- Experience with: JIRA, Confluence, MS Office toolkit (advanced Excel)
