Telecommunication Implementation Engineer (Value Added Services)

for the position of Telecommunication Implementation Engineer (Value added Services) to work in our offices in Warszawa, Łódź and Bydgoszcz.
Engineer Tasks:
- VAS systems design and implementation;
- Software configuration and/or testing;
- Platform integration;
- Software and project documentation preparation;
- platforms and solutions support;
- Willingness to travel.
Must have requirements:
- BSc, MSc, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related technical area;
- Practical knowledge of any of VAS platform in-field implementation/support (OSS, IN, Messaging)
- Good Knowledge of system administration in Red Hat/ Linux or other UNIX systems
- Knowledge of Telecommunication Technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, practical understanding of TCP/IP and transport network);
- Very good knowledge of English (both spoken and written);
- Programming skills with script languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Unix shell or others);
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
Nice to have:
- Basic knowledge of Database Administration (Oracle/SQL);
- Knowledge of telecommunication protocols integration: SIP, SS7 (CAMEL, MAP), IMS (SIP, Diameter);
- Good knowledge of JSLEE, SIP Servlets and telecommunication servers: Mobicents, OpenCloud Rhino, SailFin;
- Experienced in Customer Service Support;
- Ability to write and speak fluently in other languages;
- Knowledge of system administration in Windows Servers;
- Proven 3 years experience working in telecom industry.
