Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree in computer science
- Full-time working experience in Software Engineering at least 2 years
- Track record in applying test-automation for java based applications
- Writing and understanding SQL-queries
- Experience within an agile environment (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong customer-orientation with positive & result-driven attitude
- Fluent in English, German not required (but would be “a plus”)
- Ideally background in e-commerce industry
Responsibilities:
- Drive all test-related topics from within the DevOps product team for a defined set of e-commerce applications
- Continuously optimize the test-coverage on different levels
- Ensure continuous and successful execution of automated test-cases - follow-up on failing tests
- Leverage external testing service providers (i.e. crowd testing and third party)
- Design test scenarios for all test levels and types (i.e. automated, regression, exploratory)
- Implement automated tests
- In a Java-based environment using frameworks like e.g. Cucumber
- Strongly considering also the data-layer
- Re-factor existing tests as needed
- Structured and transparent defect management: from identification till accepted solving & releasing
- Promote & train a test-driven culture and quality-focused mind-set
