Position Test Engineer
Aptitude Software delivers specialist enterprise finance applications to meet CFOs' needs in the specific industry sectors of Banking, Insurance, Telco and Healthcare. As a result of our recent acquisition of RevStream Inc. on 30th August 2017 (www.revstreamone.com), we are happy to have extended this to include Software, Technology & Media sectors.
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join a Technical Testing team to ensure that our products meets the required quality standards, leveraging fully automated testing approaches built around Continuous Integration/Delivery methods.
What you'll do
- Set up and maintain Windows, RHEL/Oracle Linux, and SUSE build and test environments
- Product build and integration of product modules
- Prepare and maintain product installers
- Set up and maintain testing environments
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests
- Design and execute manual tests
- Design, develop, and execute performance and other non-functional tests together with developers
- Prepare and conduct external certification processes for in-house developed software
- Write technical documentation for tested software
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux and script languages (Bash, Perl)
- Working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, Teradata) and the SQL language
- Good command of spoken and written English
Additional skills:
- Experience in developing or testing of commercial software
- Hands-on experience with software versioning and revision control systems (like Mercurial), build management, continuous integration servers (like TeamCity) and testing tools
