Opis stanowiska
Are you a Tester with strong technical skills and at least 3 years of experience in testing business applications? Are you a self-motivated individual with strong sense for detail, and with the ability to work well within a team? If so, SolarWinds has an opening for a Tester that might be a good fit for you.
What Tester does in SolarWinds:
The Tester will perform quality assurance testing on multiple web properties and collaborate with the Web Test Lead to create test documentation. He/she will perform manual tests on a technical level, document and submit QA issues, and validate resolved issues. The candidate should have strong technical skills and experience in web application testing, including browser compatibility testing. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong sense for detail with the ability to work well within a distributed team.
- Test one or more products based on test documentation
- Test on multiple platforms and databases
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time and with high quality
- Participate in preparation of test documentation (write test cases)
- Perform functional, regression, scalability, stress, and performance testing
- Assist customer support with analyzing customer issues and providing extensive details to the development team
- Work in a small dynamic team with good career opportunities
Wymagania
What is required to succeed in this position:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with testing commercial software, writing test documentation and test procedures
- Experience with manual testing of SW application under MS Windows and web-based applications
- Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated creativity
- Able to use English on a daily basis
What would be helpful (and we are willing to help with it if needed):
- General knowledge of Testing/Quality Assurance processes and procedures
- Basic DB and SQL skills
- Networking knowledge and experience (SNMP, TCP/IP)
- Basic HTML/XML knowledge
- Basic programming skills in OOP language
