We are currently looking for a:
The Network Security Project Manager

The Network Security project manager is part of the broader Network Services transformation and a key member of the Network Services team that will project manage the transformation of the existing network security perimeter and work with the chosen Network Security supplier:
- Work with Security to define the policies required for the initial configuration of the cloud network security solution
- Work with Security to define the hardware and software required to be provisioned at local sites where a cloud solution is not possible
- Work with Security to define the specific integration required to the SOC/SIEM from the network security solution
- Co-ordinate and manage replacement of network security appliances to sites (as required)
- Ensure physical decommissioning of network security hardware that has been re- placed occurs
- Work with the Network Security supplier to deliver the initial deployment of the cloud based network security solution
- Work with Security and the Network Security supplier to facilitate knowledge trans- fer and on-going support of the network security solution after the initial deployment at sites
- Work with the Connectivity PM and LAN PM to align project plans to co-ordinate site visits and surveys and maximise the use of change windows to minimise downtime to synchronise on site activities.
- Assessing additional project requirements and defining bespoke project scope, ap- proach to delivery, costs and benefits and securing the appropriate resources to fulfil the project services. Assessing repeating project demand to define standard project services.
For the Network Security Project:
- Establish project/programmes and develop project/programme charter.
- Commission project & mobilise project team. Create detailed programme/project plan and assign project resources.
- Manage day-to-day execution of programme/project. Manage delivery of agreed work products ensuring delivery to time, scope, cost & quality.
- Execute risk and issue management. Analyse overall performance of the project/pro- gramme and initiate mitigating actions where required.
- Execute project/programme close-down. Create final report (including lessons learned)
- Manage transition plan into Operations.
- Effectively maintain the project/programme scope through use of the agreed Change Control processes.
Responsibilities:
- (50 %) Establish, manage and govern the network security project. Supporting the project team with guidance, managing escalations and unblocking issues. Ensuring that projects have the appropriate definitions, plans, resources, funding, controls and benefit realisation plans.
- (30 %) Assess new demand: align to standard service requests or standard project services with the network service providers, or; define a project plans for non-stand- ard project services.
- (20 %) Assess the performance of the project delivery services of service providers, review with the service provider's leadership and develop any remediation plans or development of service offerings.
Experience:
- At least 5 - 10 year's experience in IT with at least 5 year's experience of managing projects of greater than $500k value in Network Services.
- Global network projects - experience of working with global stakeholders and imple- menting services on a global basis
- Managing network service providers and / or service integrators.
